Meeting Richard Nixon[]
For his proficiency in ping-pong which helped to better diplomatic relations with China, Forrest was congratulated by Richard Nixon. Nixon invites Forrest to stay at the Watergate Hotel, where Forrest unwittingly uncovered the infamous break-in.
